For decades people have relied heavily on carbs to FUEL their day.

Today on Strong By Design, Coach Chris sits down with Holistic Health Practitioner & Nutrition Specialist, Tonya Fines. Together they break down the ketogenic diet and give you the answers to all of your questions about this often-misunderstood diet.

Well to maybe make it simple for some of the listeners when we most of us know or are aware that when we eat carbohydrates we make our body makes glucose and that becomes the fuel it becomes the diesel that our body runs on energy. So if we start to consume higher amounts of fat our body will produce Ketones. So they're like the things for lack of a better word they're the things that become that fuel source. So fats are digested in the liver they're converted into ketones and ketones become that fuel source that our bodies then start to run on and go to for energy.
